It is late friday afternoon and I still have a few hours of work but it would be a lot easier to get through them if I had some nice Danish lakrids to help me through. Have a nice weekend everyone.
Went on a long walk on sunday to look for new fruit stickers for my collection (will post updated collection soon) and found these to great old fashion backing ingredients as well.
Happen to stumble apon the American store Williams-Sonoma today and they had some great packaging! The Ebleskiver is a Danish advent bakery tradition and they are really delisious. Love the little happy boy in the bowtie on the pancake mix tin aswell!
New grocery just opened in East London and everything about it is amazing! Their concept is bring your own containers/no packaging, all organic, and they have a lot of locally produced products. The look of the shop is very beautiful old fashion shop with a great big wooden counter etc.
The graphic design is by brilliant, dream place to work, studio Multistorey. Especially the fliers which are lacercut and goldleaf printing on old cereal boxes sums up the brilliance of this buisness.
Here are 2 spirits we always drink at home at Christmas, 'bitter' and cherry wine, there is alot of other ones, as Danes do alot of shots over the hollidays, will try and find some more.
