We have had our oven on almost all weekend! Maria made amazing scones (fruit, cheese and plain, less doesn't cut it) and I had my first go at making seedy crisp bread, from one of my mum's recipes, they turn out okay. I also made some some nutty bunny biscuits, but unfortunately they are not really worth showing... taste great though!

Weekend Adventure / Creperie du Monde
This is the 'Danes Delight', which I obviously had to get, at the newly and very welcomed Creperie at Chatsworth Road in Clapton. It is really great to see how this local street has developed rapidly in the last few years, and I will defiantly recommend this Creperie, great hang out spot, lovely décor, friendly staff and a very exciting menu. I love when dishes have great names! Tom had the 'English country side'. obviously.

Skaertoft Moelle
These prettier than prettier grain based products are from properly one of the coolest farmers in Denmark, he has a MBA, a wife who works in media and wears black cashmere roller neck jumpers and everything.
Their products are amazing combinations of different grains, flowers, nuts and fruits, and they have had a sea of creative people to help them out with their visual identity, everything from textile designers, amateur chefs, copy writers and off course graphic designers, in this case it is Tobias Roeder. Can be bought in Irma.

Cavalierino
Love this packaging from a little new winery in Tuscany. I also like that Cavalierino - Little Horse - is a symbol of the underdog against the big wineries in Tuscany. via Lovely package.

Urtekram
Urtekram is one of the oldest organic brands in Denmark, and they produce everything from rice crackers to body scrubs. They have had a re branding a couple of times, and even though their original 70'ies illustration packaging was amazing (unfortunately it was impossible to find an image, the search is on!), I really like their new simple, contemporary and colourful packaging. Their oils are amazing!

Soebogaard
Soebogaard is a farm in Denmark which produces lots of different organic products (they also love the animals and have set up a foundation to save dying Danish farm animal races) All their products come in the cutest clean coloured packaging, with illustrations of fruit and vegetables. Their website is very quirky, in the home-made-on-a-farm kind of way, and you are met by a donkey sound when you enter the page! try it out.

Friday snack
These crisp (chips in Scandinavia) we have to have with our Christmas meal every year even though no one really likes them and they stick weirdly to your tongue, but it is not Christmas before they are on the table, and the red and white packaging is still amazingly retro cool!

Garlic peanuts and hangover tea

So today it is back to work as the festive season is over (well it is officially on Thursday).
The wonders above are from this odd shop on Hackney Road, which I am always contemplating going in to but never have, until the other day, and surprisingly they have pretty good stuff! Love the honey chrysanthemum tea drink!
