It is a bank holliday here in the UK, so Im blogging in my pyjamas. I did not know this until I watched a very interesting program about Dali this weekend that he designed the logo for Chupa Chups! Great. Had a look at their website, very fun and interactive.

The wines
And here are the nice wines we tried at the tasting. I always go for labels with aimals or nice use of type.
Beers
Went for a beer and wine tasting out on the country side and came across these beautifully wrapped beers by Danish brewery Mikkeller. They brew the most intersting flavour combinations and strenghts and collaborate with breweries around the world, not strange they have been nominated in the top five best brewery in the world several times.

hansens floedeis
Danes love their icecream. I especially love Hansens icecream which has been going since 1922 and is still produced at a tiny little family run dairy. Their packaging and graphics are stunningly nostalgic and one of the things that reminds me the most about summer in Denmark.

Ricos coffee
This week will be all about Denmark as I went home for a holiday all of last week. I had such a lovely time!
First thing was a nice stroll through Noerrebro (the hip, creative and sometimes dangourous area of Copenhagen) My sister always takes me to a lovely little coffeebar/libary cafe calle Rico's who makes very good coffee and this time they also had very cool-to-keep take away mugs illustrated by young up and coming artists.
